The Commerce Department of Government College Sector-1, Panchkula, orchestrated an event to commemorate World Consumer Rights Day, during which students from the Commerce Department staged a street play to raise awareness about consumer rights and responsibilities.
Principal Yashpal Singh commended the students’ performance and emphasized the significance of consumer awareness in today’s society. The program was spearheaded by Professor Prachi Goyal, who took the initiative to organize the event.
In attendance were Krishna Uppal, the Head of the Commerce Department, along with all the faculty members of the Commerce Department, who actively participated in the event. The collective effort of the faculty and students aimed to educate the public about their rights as consumers and the responsibilities that come with them.
