The Chairman and members of the Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum (CGRF) of North Haryana Electricity Distribution Corporation in Panchkula will conduct proceedings on January 12th (Friday) from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. The session will take place at the CGRF office in Flat No. 520, Power Colony, Panchkula. During this period, only complaints from consumers in Panchkula district will be addressed.
The Electricity Corporation spokesperson stated that the forum members will address various consumer issues, including billing concerns, voltage discrepancies, metering problems, disconnections and connections, obstacles in power supply, efficiency, safety, lack of reliability, and non-compliance with orders from the Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission. However, cases related to electricity theft and unauthorized use of electricity under Sections 126 and 135 to 139 of the Electricity Act, as well as cases related to investigations and accidents under Section 161, will not be considered.
The spokesperson emphasized the Corporation’s commitment to providing uninterrupted electricity supply and highlighted various programs aimed at promptly resolving consumer problems. All consumers are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to address their complaints.
