Over 1 crore registrations for Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024

Over one crore students, parents, and teachers have registered for the 7th edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) 2024 on the MyGov portal. The registration process, initiated on December 11, 2023, will conclude on January 12, 2024. The Ministry of Education stated, “This shows the extensive enthusiasm among students nationwide, eager to participate in this distinctive event and interact with the Prime Minister.”

Pariksha Pe Charcha, a program conceptualized by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, provides a platform for students, parents, and teachers to discuss anxieties related to examinations and life after school. The Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education, has successfully organized this event for the past six years.

The 7th edition of PPC is scheduled for January 29, 2024, at Bharat Mandapam, ITPO, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, in a town-hall format. Approximately 4,000 participants will interact with the Prime Minister during the program. Special guests, including two students and a teacher from each State and UTs, as well as winners of the Kala Utsav and Veer Gatha competitions, may be invited.

The MyGov portal is hosting an online MCQ competition from December 11, 2023, to January 12, 2024, for students of classes 6th to 12th, teachers, and parents to participate in the contest.

Pariksha Pe Charcha is part of the broader ‘Exam Warriors’ movement led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, aimed at creating a stress-free atmosphere for youngsters. Preceding the main event, from January 12, 2024, Youth Day, to January 23, 2024, various activities will be organized at the school level, including marathon runs, music competitions, meme contests, nukkad natak, and student-anchor-student-guest discussions.

On January 23, 2024, the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, a Painting Competition will be organized in 500 districts across the country, focusing on topics like Chandrayan and the sporting success of India. Approximately 2050 participants selected based on their questions on the MyGov portal will receive a special Pariksha Pe Charcha kit, including the Exam Warriors book in Hindi and English, written by the Prime Minister, and a certificate.
