Until today, there is no sign of thaw between the treasury bench and the opposition on the issue of Manipur violence. However, yesterday, the Chairman of the house, Jagdeep Dhankar, suspended AAP MP Sanjay Singh for the entire session, reducing the number of opposition members by one. Moreover, there is no news so far about the withdrawal of the suspension order of Congress MP Rajani Patil, who was suspended in the last budget session. Now, if the government wants to bring the ordinance on Delhi services for controlling Delhi administration for approval in the Rajya Sabha, the opposition will be outsmarted by the treasury. If they continue to protest the Manipur issue, the treasury bench may bring more motions to suspend a greater number of MPs so that the government can easily pass the ordinance.
