Opposition leaders attentively listen to ‘mann ki baat’

In a first, opposition leaders tuned into the Prime Minister’s monthly radio program ‘mann ki baat’ expecting him to address the Manipur issue and perhaps criticize the opposition. The anticipation was fueled by hints from sources within the BJP. However, the Prime Minister typically avoids political discussions in this program, instead focusing on social matters. The leaders, feeling misled, sought clarification from their BJP sources, who were unreachable. The perception was that this misinformation was deliberate, to compel opposition leaders to listen to the program.
