Nuh violence most likely to result in vote polarisation

After the communal riots in Haryana’s Nuh that broke out on July 31, there has been an uproar in the political corridors of the state ahead of the forthcoming assembly session as well. At the same time, political activities gained momentum following the Nuh violence. Political experts are of the opinion that the riots that erupted recently are most likely to result in new political equations as well as developments. Besides, new developments in terms of caste polarisation are expected in the state, which has all political parties coming up with new strategies.
It has been announced in the Hindu Mahapanchayat held recently in Palwal that the Braj Mandal Yatra will be held again on August 28, and contradictions and mutual deadlock are emerging on the ground among Hindu organisations. Refusing to be a part of the announced yatra, several Hindu organisations and khaps have decided to boycott the same, accusing the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal of trying to spoil harmony and brotherhood among the communities in the state.
