Rupnagar Police have filed a case against the imprisoned gangster Sampat Nehra, currently held in Bathinda Central Jail, under the Arms Act. The move follows the issuance of a production warrant against him.
It is noteworthy that Nehra is also implicated in the case involving the killing of Karni Sena leader Sukhdev Gogamedi by firing shots in Rajasthan. Sources indicate that the Roopnagar Police has connected him to the ongoing investigation of the murder case.
According to sources, Nehra, confined in Bathinda Central Jail, was brought to Roopnagar under a production warrant to face questioning related to the murder of Sukhdev Gogamedi. The Roopnagar Police can now conduct inquiries regarding the Arms Act case against Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi.
