No injury suggestive of sexual assault in Kanjhawala death case

In the Kanjhawala case, the post-mortem reports of Anjali who was dragged under the car have come which revealed that no sexual assault happened and the cause of death is a vehicular accident.

Meanwhile, the Post Mortem Examination (PME) ruled out ‘sexual assault’ on Tuesday. The Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC) three-member medical board, in New Delhi, conducted the Post Mortem Examination of Anjali.

Earlier on 2 January in case FIR no. 2/23 Sultanpuri Police Station PME was conducted. Talking to the media Special CP Law and Order, Delhi, SP Hooda said, “the report states the provisional cause of death as shock and haemorrhage due to antemortem injury to the head, spine, left femur, and both lower limbs”.

Moreover, by blunt force, all the injuries are produced by vehicular accidents and dragging. No injury has been suggestive of sexual assault in Anjali’s PME.

However, further investigation into the case is underway.

In the early hours of New Year Anjali was killed after her scooty was hit by a car and for 13 kilometers was dragged under the vehicle on the city’s roads.
