Kuldeep, an associate of Nitin Fauji, the shooter who killed Sukhdev Gogamedi in Rajasthan, tried to commit suicide by slitting his throat with a blade in jail. Seeing blood inside the barrack of Narnaul jail, the jail staff immediately took care of him and admitted him to the civil hospital, where when his condition became critical, he was referred to a higher center. The local police has also been informed by the Jail Superintendent.
Before the murder of Gogamedi, Nitin Fauji and his associates were accused of firing on the police team in village Khudana of Mahendragarh on 9 November. In this case, FIR number-388 was registered in Mahendragarh Sadar police station. Apart from Kuldeep of village Rivasa, the police had arrested 3 others in the case. All of them were with Nitin Fauji that day.
However, Nitin escaped from the military police and on December 5, he shot and killed Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi on the instructions of Rohit Godara and Virendra. At present Nitin is in the custody of Rajasthan Police.
Kuldeep was lodged in Naseebpur jail of Narnaul. At around 8 am on Friday morning, he tried to commit suicide by slitting his throat with a blade inside the jail. As soon as this information was received, there was panic in the jail administration. The jail staff took Kuldeep to the civil hospital for treatment. Where he was referred due to his serious condition.
Jail SP Sanjay Kumar said that prisoner Kuldeep, lodged in the case of FIR No. 388 registered in Mahendragarh police station, had tried to commit suicide in the morning. He was taken to the hospital for treatment in time.
