The Uddhav Thackeray government is running in Maharashtra with the support of the Congress, but Congress leader Sanjay Nirupam always targets the Maharashtra government. He doesn’t think about its ramification on the government and continues to accuse indiscriminately. Now he has taken on the Maharashtra CM, saying the new bungalow Matoshree-2 in Bandra, which is being built by Uddhav Thackeray, has been bought from the wrong person as well as at a lower price from the market. Hence Nirupam has demanded an inquiry from the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
A building named Matoshree-2 is being constructed right in front of the Matoshree bungalow that Uddhav Thackeray currently lives in. He had bought this from Rajbhushan Dixit in October 2016.
Nirupam alleged that Rajbhushan Dixit is an accused of an ED case. “Rajbhushan Dixit and Jagabhushan Dixit have gone to jail on charges of money laundering,” he said. He said that ED should also look at Matoshree-2 and investigate how Uddhav got 10,000 sq ft of land in Kalanagar area for just Rs 5.80 crore, while its market price is over seven times.
