In a major administrative rejig, the Bihar government has transferred 9 IAS officers on Tuesday. The government has transferred the District Magistrates of seven districts and the General Administration Department has issued notification in this regard.
The state government has transferred the District Magistrates of Jamui, Shivhar, Munger, Sasaram, Kishanganj and Aurangabad.
According to the notification issued by the General Administration Department of Bihar Government, Jamui District Magistrate Avnish Kumar Singh has been removed from there and made the new District Magistrate of Munger.
