NIA conducts raids in Rajasthan’s Bharatpur, crack-down on gangster-terror group nexus

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted raids at Rajasthan’s Bharatpur on Tuesday in a crak-down against gangsters and their association with terror groups.

The officers of NIA searched the Kaman-hill area along with the local police. DSP Kapil Aggarwal is the leader of team NIA, he is accompained by Bharatpur ASP Himmat Singh, DSP Pradeep Yadav, station in-charge of local police stations, and additional personnel.

In Sanvaler, Moongska, and the surrounding forests, two distinct squads are looking for gangsters and illegal weapons.
An continuing investigation into gangs and their connections to terrorist organisations led the NIA to conduct searches earlier in the day at numerous locations across several states in northern India.
To deconstruct and disrupt the increasing connection between terrorists, gangsters, drug smugglers, and traffickers with bases in India and overseas, operations were carried out in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Delhi, and the National Capital Region (NCR).
Massive caches of illicit weapons as well as illegal arms industries have been found.

Two separate squads are searching for gangsters and illicit weapons in Sanvaler, Moongska, and the nearby woodlands.

The NIA conducted searches earlier in the day at a number of locations throughout multiple states in northern India as part of an ongoing investigation into gangs and their connections to terrorist organisations.
Operations were conducted in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Delhi, and the National Capital Region to dismantle and disrupt the growing connection between terrorists, criminals, drug smugglers, and traffickers with bases in India and abroad (NCR).
Illegal arms industries and large-scale illicit weapon depots have both been discovered.

The NIA sweep came after the anti-terror agency began looking into this connection after the re-registration of two cases that had previously been filed by the Delhi Police on August 26 of this year. Some of the most desperate gang leaders and their associates, both in India and overseas, who are organising and carrying out such criminal and terrorist actions have been found and arrested.
