In a resolute crackdown on terrorists and their sympathizers in Jammu and Kashmir, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has seized eight properties owned by active terrorists in the Pulwama district of South Kashmir.
According to official sources, the NIA, acting on the directives of the Special NIA court, has attached properties belonging to two identified terrorists, Mohd Shafi Wani and Mohd Tikka Khan, both residents of Singoo Narbal in Pulwama. Today’s action carried out in the Kakapora area of Pulwama includes the attachment of five properties linked to Mohd Shafi Wani and three properties associated with Mohd Tika Khan under case RC-05/2018/NIA/DLI involving a terror-related offence.
Mohammad Tika Khan, held in custody since 2018, saw his properties seized under the provisions of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, as per the order of the NIA Special Court, officials stated.
The confiscated properties are linked to a case related to the escape of LeT terrorist Mohammad Naveed Jatt (now deceased) from the SMHS Hospital in Srinagar, as per insider sources.
Emphasizing a steadfast commitment, officials affirmed that rigorous actions against terrorists and their sympathizers will persist until terrorism is eradicated from Jammu and Kashmir.
