A 5.6 magnitude earthquake struck Nepal on Monday afternoon, causing seismic activity in Delhi and the surrounding areas. The National Seismological Centre (NSC) confirmed the event occurred on Monday at 4:16 p.m. “A seismic event with a magnitude of 5.6 occurred on 06-11-2023 at 16:16:40 IST, Latitude: 28.89, Longitude: 82.36, Depth: 10 Km in the Nepal region,” the NSC stated in a post on X.
Additionally, a 3.1 magnitude earthquake shook Churachandpur in Manipur on Sunday evening at 5:42 pm. NSC reported the seismic activity in a post on X, mentioning, “A 3.1 magnitude earthquake happened on 05-11-2023 at 17:42:04 IST, Latitude: 24.23, Longitude: 93.73, Depth: 30 Km in Churachandpur, Manipur, India.”
