To raise awareness among school students and discourage tobacco consumption, a one-day program was organized under the National Tobacco Control Program in Ali Garh (Village), Ali Garh (Town), Nangal, Ratte Wali, and Khetparali, under the supervision of Dr. Mukta Kumar, a civil surgeon in Panchkula, as per the directions of Dr. Sonu Aroda, Deputy Civil Surgeon. The event included a special rally on tobacco control and an oath-taking ceremony to abstain from tobacco use. Additionally, a poster-making competition was held, and prizes in the form of water bottles, lunch boxes, and school bags were distributed. The school’s principal and teachers also made significant contributions to the success of this event.
