Police in Fatehabad seized 14.30 grams of heroin from two different locations, leading to the arrest of two individuals in each case. In the first incident, Sanjay, a resident of Dhani Manawali, was apprehended by the Fatehabad city police under the NDPS Act. The police team, led by SHO Radheshyam during patrol, intercepted Sanjay on the Hisar-Sirsa bypass, resulting in the discovery of 8 grams of heroin in his possession.

In the second case, the Jakhal police confiscated 6.30 grams of heroin from a youth and registered a case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. During their patrol, the police team, led by Rajkumar ASI, was heading towards Chuhadpur village when they detained a suspect. Upon searching him, 6.30 grams of heroin were recovered. The police have filed a case against the accused, Balakar, a resident of Chuhadpur, and initiated an investigation.

Additionally, in Jakhal Mandi, three individuals involved in vandalizing and assaulting a shop were promptly arrested by the police. The accused, identified as Guratyan, Balwinder, and Soki Khan, residents of Chandpura village, were apprehended with the seized vehicle and sticks used in the incident. The police will present all three accused in court on Wednesday afternoon.

Jakhal Thana in-charge Ranjeet Singh explained that the shopkeeper in Jakhal Mandi had filed a complaint that three individuals had forcibly entered his shop on Tuesday. They assaulted his worker and engaged in vandalism. The CCTV footage was provided to the police, leading to the registration of a case against the suspects.
