On Thursday, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) confiscated approximately 1.5 kg (equivalent to about 2,700 pills) of MDMA at a post office in Chhatarpur, Delhi. Officials reported the arrest of an Indian woman and a Nigerian citizen in connection with the smuggling of the illegal substance. The NCB stated that the woman was the intended recipient of the contraband, while the Nigerian national was apprehended during subsequent actions. During a search of their residence, Rs 3,50,000 in cash was also seized. The NCB mentioned that further investigations are underway.
