According to officials, the 12 kids who were reported missing after their boat capsized in the Bagmati River in the Muzaffarpur district of Bihar were found dead in the water on Friday. Up to 15 people who were aboard the unfortunate boat that capsized in the Bagmati River near the Benibad police station in Muzaffarpur were saved on Thursday. After the capsize was reported, emergency rescue personnel from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) were called into action.
The deceased were identified as Kamini Kumari, Sushmita Kumari, Baby Kumari, Sazda Bano, Ganita Devi, Azmat, Ritesh Kumar, Shivji Chaupal, Samshul, Vaseem, Mintu and Pintu, Raghvendra Nagwal, Circle Officer, Gaighat (Muzaffarpur) told on Friday.
