The Mumbai University recently conducted the final year examinations for undergraduate and postgraduate students of the university in online mode. As per several media reports, nearly 95 percent of total students gave the exams this year. The university stated that out of 73,314 students, 71,729 students appeared for the MU Exams 2020 conducted for final year students. There were, however, reports of technical glitches and problems in the online portal developed by the university. Students said that the website was crashing after every few minutes, probably because of the heavy traffic on it. Many students could not start the exam at the allotted time slot but they were given extra time to complete their paper. The university has also confirmed that the students who were not able to give the online exams due to various reasons will get the opportunity to appear for the exams at a later date, which will be released soon.
