In response to the previous season’s result delays, Mumbai University (MU) has revamped its examination process. The new approach involves sending a PDF file containing seat numbers, barcodes, and other student details to each examination center. Upon download, the exam center prints the file on stickers provided by the university, affixing them to students’ answer sheets.
The inclusion of a QR code ensures that the university has access to details of all students, eliminating the risk of result delays due to misinformation, as highlighted in a press note by a university official on Monday night. Concurrently, the results for 72 degree exams, including BA, BCom, BSc, and BPharmacy, conducted in October and November 2023, have been promptly declared.
