MLC demands refund of exam fees for 13 lakh candidates amid recruitment cancellation

Independent MLC Satyajeet Tambe has called for the refund of exam fees for more than 13 lakh candidates affected by the cancellation of recruitment processes in 2019. The recruitment process, conducted in 34 district councils, faced cancellation, causing confusion among candidates. Tambe raised concerns about the pending refund, urging action. Water Resources Minister Girish Mahajan responded, stating that steps are being taken to refund exam fees through the respective Zilla Parishads. The process requires candidates to submit refund information on http://maharddzp.com, with 85,556 candidates already refunded, and the remaining in progress.
