MLA Gopal Sharma emphasises on workers’ empowerment

Gopal Sharma, the legislator from Civil Lines, announced plans to confer the status of a legislator upon every worker affiliated with the Civil Lines assembly. During a Park Mandal workers’ meeting, Sharma asserted that these workers deserve the same respect and importance as any other legislator in government offices.

Underlining the paramount importance of workers in the BJP, Sharma emphasised the crucial role of discipline for the effective functioning of the party. While recognising the significance of humility, he cautioned against arrogance among the workers, drawing from his own experience as a BJP worker. Sharma acknowledged the challenges posed by recent elections and anticipated the upcoming Lok Sabha elections to be equally demanding. He emphasised the need to secure a substantial number of votes from Civil Lines for the BJP.

In the meeting, MLA Gopal Sharma encouraged workers to translate their speeches into action, aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s zero-tolerance policy for corruption. He stressed that there is no requirement to resort to street protests to shut down illegal businesses; those involved in illicit activities should decide when to cease operations.
Expressing admiration for Prime Minister Modi’s work, Sharma called upon workers to prepare for the forthcoming electoral battle. Recognising the significance of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, he urged workers to contribute to enhancing the BJP’s vote percentage. Former minister Arun Chaturvedi, addressing the gathering, commended BJP workers for their pivotal role in ousting the corrupt Congress government. He highlighted the commitment of BJP workers to the construction of the Ram Temple, noting that the dream would be realised on January 22, 2024.

Former MLA Mohal Lal Gupta acknowledged the contributions of Dr. Gopal Sharma, the newly elected legislator, who had served society as a journalist before entering politics.
Mohan Lal Gupta mentioned that the national executive meeting of the BJP has decided to make every citizen of the country a BJP worker. The goal is to increase the BJP’s vote percentage in the upcoming elections to surpass 400 seats.
