MLA Diya Kumari demands swift action in rape case

Diya Kumari, the newly elected MLA from the Vidhyadhar Nagar assembly seat in Jaipur, Rajasthan, is gaining attention for her aggressive style. A recent viral video on social media shows Diya Kumari scolding police officers over the phone.
In the video, Diya Kumari is heard saying to a police officer that Ashok Gehlot has implicated her, but the BJP government will come into power within four days. She warns that they will be removed from their positions and sent to a place where no one will know where they went. This viral video is said to be from the Jhotwara police station in Jaipur. According to information, a complaint was filed by the father of an 8-year-old girl at the Jhotwara police station in Jaipur after a gang rape with his daughter.
The victim’s father claimed that while returning from school, the bus driver and his friends took the girl to a deserted house and kept her younger brother locked in the van. The victim’s family has also filed a complaint with the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights regarding this.
Meanwhile, the commission members forwarded the father’s complaint to the police. Initially, the police were reluctant to take action, but after pressure from social organizations, a case was registered. Upon receiving information about the case, Diya Kumari, the newly elected MLA from Vidhyadhar Nagar, also visited the police station.
BJP MLA Diya Kumari met with the people and listened to the entire incident from the victim’s family. Later, she instructed the police officers to immediately arrest the accused of gang rape and take strict action against them.
