Mizoram explosives seizure case: NIA arrests 3 among Myanmar national

In connection with its ongoing investigation into the Mizoram explosives, arms, and ammunition seizure case, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) announced on Tuesday that it had detained three people, among them a citizen of Myanmar.

The three suspects who were taken into custody are J. Rohlupuia (age 55), Henry Siangnuna (age 48), and C. Laldinsaga (age 43). After the agency conducted a thorough search, they were detained on Monday. The defendants will be presented before the Special NIA Court in Aizawl on Tuesday, according to the NIA, where the organization will ask for their remand in the case.
