Minor boy throws acid on teenage girl in Delhi’s Burari, arrested

In the national capital, a 15-year-old girl fell victim to an acid attack perpetrated by a 16-year-old boy, as reported by the police. The incident occurred on Friday in Delhi’s Burari area. The assailant was apprehended by local residents and subsequently handed over to the police.

Local inhabitants brought the acid attack to the attention of the police, prompting a police team to swiftly respond to the scene, leading to the detention of the accused. Initial investigations indicate that the boy, harboring frustration from a dispute with another girl, unleashed the acid attack on the victim as an outlet for his anger. The police have registered a case under IPC 326B 341 against the boy, who remains in custody.
