Minor accuses parents of selling her for prostitution

The girl, accusing her parents of wanting to sell her for 20 lakh rupees, appeared before Police Deputy Superintendent Hansraj Bairwa and filed a plea for justice.
In the jurisdiction of Jahajpur police station, a minor girl appeared before Police Deputy Superintendent Hansraj Bairwa, accused her own parents of serious charges, and raised concerns about her safety. The minor girl told the police that her parents wanted to sell her to Gwalior for 20 lakh rupees for prostitution, but she wanted to marry and settle down in her own home. She filed a plea for justice with the police administration for her safety against her parents. On the complaint of the minor, the police have registered a case and started an investigation into the matter of negotiating 20 lakh against her parents.
In the police report, the minor stated that her parents had sold her earlier for prostitution, barely escaping from where.
Now, her parents want to make a deal again. The adolescent girl stated that she wants to marry and settle down in her own home. She has filed a plea with the police administration against her parents for her safety.
It is worth noting that the trade of minor daughters is gaining momentum in rural areas of Shahpura. In villages, daughters are being openly traded for a few rupees. Several such cases have already come to light in the region, where daughters are traded for a few rupees and pushed into the business of prostitution.
