Ministry of Ayush highlights significant public health progress in last 100 Days

The Ministry of Ayush announced significant progress in its public health initiatives over the past 100 days. In a press conference held at the Central Homoeopathy Research Institute in Jaipur, officials shared key achievements and developments across various AYUSH disciplines. The presentation showcased the prognosis and different phases of the treatment. Several patients suffering ailments like dermatitis and Tinea Corporis have been successfully treated with the efforts of the department. Besides, the presentation exhibited the details of ongoing research into mental health disorders and dengue treatments.
Dr Nidhi Mahajan, Officer-in-Charge of CRIH, announced that over 8,000 individuals in Rajasthan and more than 700,000 nationwide have benefitted from public health initiatives. The ministry organised 14,692 camps for senior citizens across India and 210 AYUSH camps in Rajasthan during this period.
The institute is NABH entry-level certified and provides general and specialised OPD services, benefitting over 8,000 patients in the last 100 days. Dr Uttam Singh reported that 12 MoUs have been signed with various institutions for research training, and CCRH has received a patent along with NABH certification for one of its institutes.
Dr B.R. Meena discussed the inclusion of Ayurvedic packages under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, resulting in 170 finalised packages. The ministry also launched the “Har Ghar AyurYog” initiative to promote Ayurveda and Yoga in communities.
The conference ended, highlighting the Central Homoeopathy Research Institute’s initiatives towards public health through traditional medicine and innovative research.
