Minister Mahesh Joshi’s ticket uncertainty sparks political turmoil

State Water Supply Minister Mahesh Joshi’s ticket from Hawa Mahal seems to be cancelled. The troubles of Minister Joshi, who was involved in the resignation of MLAs against the decision of the Congress high command, are increasing. After the name did not appear in the five lists and after the name of Jaipur District President RR Tiwari was discussed from Hawa Mahal constituency, Joshi met CM Gehlot. However, Congress will soon decide on Minister Joshi. According to information received from sources, Joshi met the CM on Thursday before his election rally. In such a situation, it is believed that the CM can once again discuss with the high command regarding Joshi’s ticket. The reason is that Joshi is considered very close to Gehlot.
When The Daily Guardian talked to Minister Mahesh Joshi on the issue of him not getting the ticket from Hawa Mahal till now, he said that he does not want to give any statement on this right now. His decision will be as per the decision of the party.
Mahesh Joshi’s supporters created a ruckus at the state Congress headquarters in Jaipur on Wednesday after not getting tickets from the Hawa Mahal assembly seat. Heavy police had to be deployed outside the office. When the doors of the office were closed, Joshi’s supporters entered inside by jumping over the wall and started creating a ruckus.
It is worth mentioning that complaints have also reached the high command regarding Rohit Joshi, son of Minister Mahesh Joshi. A girl has filed a rape case against his son Rohit. That girl is also a resident of the Hawa Mahal constituency. In such a situation, political parties have capitalised on this issue. That’s why Congress is avoiding giving a ticket to Joshi. It is noteworthy that the ticket of MLA Johari Lal Meena has also been cancelled because a case of rape has been registered against his son.
