In a tragic accident near Gill Dhaba on the Balachaur-Rupnagar Highway. a 60- to 62- year-old mentally weak, unidentified person died after being hit by a vehicle last night. In this regard, a young man from village Jabba told me that he was going for a walk on his bicycle at around 6 a.m. today when, a little ahead of Gill Dhaba, he saw two pieces of a person body. When I looked closer, other body parts were also scattered here and there, and his body was badly crushed. He immediately informed number 100 and then number 108, but no one reached there for a long time.
According to the information received from the people, this unknown person was seen roaming on the road for the last 4-5 days, but last night, when he was going on the road, an unknown vehicle hit him and he died. It is being told that no one dared to pick up this dead person from the road, and in the darkness of the night, small and big vehicles kept passing over his body, due to which he was seriously crushed and the pieces of his body were carried away. Scattered far away. The situation became such that even his face was not recognizable. Regarding the said incident, someone called the SHO of Kathgarh police station on the phone. Inspector Pankaj Sharma was informed, and he reached there within a few minutes and took action. He collected the dead body and took it to Civil Hospital Blachaur by ambulance.
