A complimentary multi-specialty medical check-up camp was conducted at the Shri Gauri Shankar Temple in Dheerpur village, facilitated by the Adarsh Nagar Vidhan Sabha in partnership with the UBA Cell at Miranda House College and the Om Help Foundation. During this camp, about 150 patients were examined by Senior Cardiologist Dr. Kavita Tyagi, Orthopedic Specialist Dr. Ankur Gupta, Physiotherapist Dr. Meera Verma, Dental Specialist Dr. Rajat Tyagi, Ophthalmologist and their team. During the camp, Dr. Kavita Tyagi made people aware of the prevention of heart diseases and trained them on CPR through a demo during a heart attack, and explained when and how to give CPR. Dr. Kavita Tyagi informed the people that high blood pressure, high cholesterol, smoking, stress, obesity, physical inactivity, and diabetes are primarily responsible for heart disease, so after the age of 40, one should regularly check their blood pressure, diabetes, and cholesterol. Sher Singh Malik, in-charge of the Gauri Shankar Temple Trust, Dr. Pradeep Agarwal, UBA Coordinator Nisha Vashisht of Miranda House College, college volunteers including Geetanjali, Shivani of the college were present on this occasion.
