The employees of Municipal Corporation Chandigarh today took a pledge during the Vigilance Awareness week which started from 30th October to 5th November, 2023 in MCC office premises here today. Gurinder Sodhi, Joint Commissioner, MCC administered oaths to all the MCC employees. As per the communiqué, the Corporation will observe vigilance awareness week from 30th October to 5th November 2023 with the theme “Say no to Corruption; Commit to the Nation” as per the instructions of Vigilance Commission, Govt. of India. They pledged that they shall continuously strive to bring about integrity and transparency in all spheres of their activities.
They also pledge that they shall work unstintingly for the eradication of corruption in all spheres of life and remain vigilant & and work towards the growth and reputation of their organisation.
They shall do their duty conscientiously and act without fear or favour. Similarly, all the employees of different wings of MCC outside the head office took a pledge including sanitation staff, MCPH, Karuna Sadan, Sector 11 and Water works, sector 37 etc.
