New Year was celebrated with great pomp in the capital on Sunday night. To celebrate the New Year, restaurants, hotels, resorts and clubs were decorated on different themes. During this period, special arrangements were also made in the malls of Jaipur. People were seen dancing vigorously on Bollywood, Punjabi, Rajasthani and Western songs. Gala and ball room dinners were arranged in different hotels. Apart from this, milk was also served on New Year outside Rajasthan University, where a crowd of people gathered. Also, the show of famous Punjabi singer Hardy Sandhu got cancelled.
Famous singer Milind Gaba’s show was organized in EP East Lawn. Colorful fireworks were done with Rajasthani folk dance and live music at Ramaj Resort located on Tonk Road. Apart from this, Open Air Dunes Party was organized at Stardom Resort. ‘Bigg Boss’ fame Asim Riaz performed here. The biggest Sufi Night was organized at Out at Bagh in Vidyadharji’s Bagh.
