A man on Tuesday in Coimbatore stole gold worth Rs. 50 lakh from a workshop. According to the police report, the accused stole 1067.850 grammes of gold from M. Mohan Kumar’s shop, a 45-year-old man.
Mohan disclosed that he had been operating his gold workshop for the last 12 years during the investigation. He used to give his employee, Nova, the shop’s key each day.
On the day of the occurrence, Mohan gave his employee the key after locking the store. However, under the guise of working at the shop, another employee by the name of Pramoth Vittal Bhosla stole the key from him.
The defendants allegedly left the store open as they escaped with 1067.850 grammes of gold.
In accordance with sections 408 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), the police have filed an investigation, and the suspect who has fled is being sought.
