Man fatally attacked with hammer in domestic dispute

A case of murder, involving a man being struck on the head with a hammer, has come to light in Sector 20 of Panchkula. According to the information received, the individual had gone to mediate a dispute between a husband and wife. In a fit of anger, the husband attacked the man with a hammer, resulting in his death.

The deceased, identified as a resident of Jagtar village Fatehpur in Sector 20, was mentioned by Savitri, a resident of Sector 20. She reported that her husband, Arvind, is addicted to alcohol, and after a night-long argument over an issue, he began feeling uneasy.
Jagtar, an acquaintance of the woman, tried to intervene, but Arvind struck him on the head with a hammer. Immediately upon impact, Jagtar fell down bleeding.
The accused, Arvind, fled from the spot.

The woman rushed Jagtar to Panchkula Sector 6 Civil Hospital in a bleeding state, where, after an examination, the doctor declared Jagtar dead. The police have initiated further action in the case, registering it and taking necessary steps.
