Man dies after hit by JCB near Panchsheel Park Metro Station

In a recent tragedy, a 50 year old man lost his life after being hit by a JCB while crossing the road near Panchsheel Park Metro Station on Thursday.  At 7 am on Thursday, the police received a PCR call reporting an accident. Promptly, officials rushed to the scene, where a tragic incident had occurred.

According to a police official, the victim was identified as Brij Kishore Trivedi, a 50-year-old security guard employed at a residence in Panchsheel. The unfortunate incident involved a collision with a JCB while Trivedi was crossing the road, resulting in severe injuries and, tragically, his demise.

Confirming the details, officials stated, “The deceased was identified as Brij Kishore Trivedi. The 50-year-old was working as a security guard at a house in Panchsheel.”

Taking swift action, the police arrested the 40-year-old JCB driver, Sandeep, who hails from Nawabganj, Uttar Pradesh. The vehicle involved in the accident was seized as part of the investigation.

In response to the incident, the deceased’s body was transferred to the AIIMS Trauma Centre. The police are actively pursuing further investigation into the matter, and additional details are awaited.
