The groups, mostly women, had stopped for the night at Gurudwara Manji Sahib on NH-44 when it was turned into a fortress in the presence of a large police force.
Khap leaders from Rohtak, Bhiwani, Hisar, Jind, and other parts of the state were apprehended. Binain khap leaders were apprehended at Jind’s Narwana railway station.
