MUMBAI : Maharashtra reported 13 new Covid-19 cases on September 18, with 23 patients discharged, raising the total recovered cases to 80,22,509 and a recovery rate of 98.18%. No Covid-19 deaths were recorded in the state on that day, maintaining a case fatality rate of 1.81%. Out of 8,75,09,744 laboratory samples, 9.34% tested positive. Presently, Maharashtra has 251 active cases. India, on the other hand, reported 26 new coronavirus infections, with 520 active cases and a total case tally of 4.49 crore, while the national recovery rate stands at 98.81%.
