Madurai: Fire breaks out at a bank branch

Early on Saturday, a fire erupted at a State Bank of India (SBI) branch located in Tamil Nadu’s Madurai district, as confirmed by fire department authorities. The fire department promptly reported that they had successfully extinguished the flames.

According to their account, an unexpected fire outbreak occurred around 3 am on Saturday at a State Bank of India (SBI) branch near the Madurai Periyar Bus Stand. The fire was spotted by a police patrol team, who immediately alerted the fire department. The fire brigade swiftly responded to the scene and managed to put out the fire.

Officials stated that the police have initiated an investigation into the incident and have registered a case. We are currently awaiting further details on this matter.
