Due to repair work being conducted, the bridge connecting Sahnewal to Chandigarh Road will remain closed for nearly 15 days. To facilitate people during this time, the traffic police have established diversion points. Boards have been placed at these points where diversions are implemented.
During the bridge repair, traffic from Dehlon heading towards Chandigarh Road will be redirected via Doraha, beyond the Neelon Nahar bridge. Similarly, local traffic from Sahnewal will be diverted beyond the Airport Road junction.
Additionally, traffic going from Chandigarh Road towards Sahnewal will have to go via Neelon Nahar bridge and Doraha, while traffic from Kohara heading to Sahnewal will be redirected beyond Focal Point, Dhandari bridge.
