The initiation of the Kota-Chomu Memu Train has brought joyful news to numerous households in Kota. Members of these families, including women, no longer need to wake up at 3:30 am to reach the office by 7:30 am.
Speaker Birla addressed the crowd and expressed that the new train service would relieve the need for people, especially women, to wake up at odd hours to reach the office on time.
After unveiling the green flag to the train, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla engaged in a dialogue with passengers during his journey to Ramganjmandi. All passengers expressed gratitude to him multiple times for the initiation of this new train service.
Speaker Birla boarded the Memu Train at Dakaniya Talav Station. During his journey to Ramganjmandi, he visited each coach, conversing with passengers, including a significant number of women. Commuters expressed gratitude for the new train service, ensuring timely arrivals and providing an opportunity for some extra rest.
Daily Downers Association President, Harcharan Singh Saluja, welcomed the 5:45 am train departure, acknowledging Speaker Birla’s understanding of people’s issues and fulfillment of promises. He highlighted the convenience brought by the timely initiation of the train, benefiting passengers.
Speaker Birla, who had to inaugurate the Memu Train on Wednesday and participate in various programs in Ramganjmandi, chose to travel via the train. After arriving at Dakaniya Station, he purchased a ticket and boarded the train.
The Maha Kumbh, which began on January 13, will continue until February 26.
