MLC of Bharatiya Rashtriya Samiti and CM of Telangana, K Chandrashekhar Rao’s daughter K Kavitha reaches at the ED office on Monday after being summoned by the agency for connection with the Delhi liquor policy case.
On 16 March, the ED issued a fresh summon to Kavitha to join its ongoing investigation in the case on 20 March. The Federal agency issued fresh summons after Kavitha refused to attend the interrogation before ED on Thursday.
The agency issued the summons as they cited the petition in SC. As per reports, Kavitha had not appeared before the court for questioning as the case is still pending before the Apex Court.
The daughter of the Chief Minister has already sent the necessary documents asked by the agency through her legal representative.
Earlier this month, the ED had summoned her to appear before the agency on Thursday, alleging that she is a key member of the south cartel. The leader of BRS had approached the Apex Court for an urgent hearing.
The leader claimed that as a woman, she couldn’t be summoned by the ED office instead of the representative of ED must visit her.
