Lions Club Chandigarh Greater, in collaboration with the Indian Dental Association, Mohali branch, recently organized a significant Dental Check-up Camp under the dynamic leadership of MJF Lion Sonia Arora, the club’s President, at the Government Model High School, Ram Darbar, Karsan.
A total of 369 students benefited from thorough dental examinations conducted by a dedicated team of 15 skilled doctors. Beyond the check-ups, the initiative incorporated engaging methods to educate the young minds. A captivating skit was presented, and a delightful poem highlighted the importance of proper brushing techniques, imparting essential oral hygiene lessons to the children. To encourage oral health practices, toothpastes and toothbrushes were distributed among the students.
In recognition of their valuable contributions, Dr. Sandeep Arora, the IDA President, was honored with a plant, symbolizing growth, appreciation, and the nurturing of ongoing contributions.
