In Rajasthan, the Special Operations Group (SOG) has arrested a school lecturer who appeared in the Rajasthan Public Service Commission’s (RPSC) School Lecturer Competitive Exam 2022 in place of candidates. It is worth noting that the Bhajan Lal government had recently formed an SIT to investigate paper leaks, and based on its information, the SOG has completed this operation.
Providing details of this action, SOG’s Additional SP Sunil Tevatia mentioned that a complaint was received at the Civil Lines police station in Ajmer from the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) that a dummy candidate had appeared in the School Lecturer Recruitment Exam 2022.
Subsequently, the police handed over the investigation to the SOG. The SOG team, after questioning previously arrested individuals Lakharam and Heeraram, apprehended a dummy candidate named Ashok Kumar Bishnoi residing in Jalore.
Receiving scrutiny from the SOG, lecturer Ashok Bishnoi has revealed several important details. It has been found that the accused served as a police constable in 2007 and succeeded in the Grade III examination in 2012. Subsequently, for the third time in 2017, he was selected as a First Grade Lecturer, where he was currently employed.
The police reported that on Thursday, Ashok Kumar, son of Hariram, residing in Karada Dheegaon, Jalore, was arrested against whom an FIR was registered at the Civil Lines police station by the RPSC’s Section Officer. According to the SOG, the accused Ashok, who has been apprehended from Ajmer, has admitted to accepting Rs 10 lakh to take the exam.
Jalore police further explained that the accused Ashok Bishnoi had successfully cleared the constable recruitment in 2007. He continued to work until 2011, after which he passed the third-grade exam in 2012. Subsequently, he joined as a lecturer in the first grade in 2017, where he was currently employed.
