LEAD and Rajasthan govt partner for quality education in MGGS schools

India’s largest School Edtech company, LEAD, has revealed its collaboration with the Government of Rajasthan to enhance English language skills among students in English medium schools. The initiative aims to support students in developing their English speaking, reading, and writing abilities. LEAD will work alongside over 3000 Mahatma Gandhi Government Schools (MGGS) throughout Rajasthan to introduce its unique English Language Program, which will enable students to acquire English as a valuable skill.
Under this partnership, MGGS schools in Rajasthan will gain access to LEAD’s English Language Lab, which includes Smart TVs for classrooms, QR-enhanced books for students, and integrated content tablets for teachers. The curriculum will cover Phonics, Vocabulary, Reading Comprehension, Writing Expression, and Grammar, enabling students to make 1.5 years’ worth of progress in English language skills within a year.
Sumeet Mehta, CEO and Co-Founder of LEAD, emphasized the importance of English proficiency as a foundational skill for students. He stated that LEAD is thrilled to collaborate with the Government of Rajasthan to provide students in the state with the essential skills needed to excel in English language proficiency. The program will open doors to a world of learning opportunities and equal chances of success for every student.
Shri Naveen Jain, IAS, Department of School Education, Government of Rajasthan, highlighted the challenges faced by students, especially in rural areas, when transitioning from Hindi medium to English medium schools.
He expressed confidence that LEAD’s English Language Program would prepare students to tackle this transition effectively, making the learning process smoother and more accessible.
LEAD’s English Language Program is built upon the knowledge gained from assisting over 2.5 million students in achieving grade-level proficiency. Their Integrated School Edtech system aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP) of 2020 and offers customized, AI-enabled solutions for all school segments. The holistic approach includes empowering teachers with internationally benchmarked tools, transforming classrooms into digitally enabled, multi-modal teaching and learning spaces, integrating curricula to enhance student learning and confidence, and implementing Smart School systems to streamline administrative tasks and provide actionable data insights to schools.
