In the wake of CBI officials reaching at the residence of Rabri Devi’s residence, on Tuesday, 7 March, the officers begins questioning former Union Minister, Lalu Prasad Yadav, in connection with the land-job scam.
As per reports, the questioning is taking place in Pandara parak, the residence of his daughter, Misa Bharti, who’s a Rajya Sabha member. In a statement, the family of Yadav, said that they will be cooperating in the investigation.
However, Earlier, a CBI official revealed that the central agency had served the notice to Yadav a few days ago and is likely to question him soon.
The CBI official on Monday said that, “A few days ago, CBI had served notice to former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Yadav in connection with the land-for-job case. CBI is likely to question Lalu Yadav soon.”
Notably, the CBI officials reached the residence of former Bihar Chief Minister, Rabri Devi on Monday, 6 March, in Patna in connection with the alleged case. Last year in October, CBI had filed a chargesheet against the former Bihar chief ministers Lalu Prasad Yadav, Rabri Devi, their daughter Misa Bharti along with 13 others in the alleged land-jobs scam case.
