AICC national spokesperson Dr Sravan Dasoju has slammed Telangana Minister K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) for enacting “drama” on the prestigious Information Technology and Investment Region (ITIR) project ahead of the Graduate MLC elections in Telangana.
According to him, the graduates are intelligent enough to identify the “chameleon characteristics” of the minister, who always lies on employment numbers and depends on fabricated figures. The senior Congress leader said that KTR has no moral right to seek graduates’ votes in the state and reiterated that the Congress will fight until the last job vacancy (1.91 lakh government jobs are currently vacant as per the Biswal Commission) is filled up by the government and all the 1.20 lakh contract employees in Telangana regularised. He slammed the government for lacking a proper employment policy and not coming up with DSC, Group-I, Group-II notifications which would help the BC, SC and ST communities.
