Khattar’s Gift to Government Employees on Haryana Day

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has given a big gift to government employees on Haryana Day. CM today formally inaugurated the cashless health facility for Haryana Government employees. Under this scheme, about 3.5 lakh regular employees, 3 lakh pensioners and 20 lakh of their dependents of Haryana will be able to avail cashless treatment facility from the empaneled hospitals.

A total of 569 hospitals have been listed in Haryana to provide the benefits of this scheme, 1340 diseases will be covered under the scheme in these hospitals. In the first phase of the scheme, 894 employees of fisheries and horticulture have been included under this scheme.

In 2017 the state government launched a limited cashless scheme, under which only 6 life-threatening emergencies – cardiac emergencies, brain hemorrhage, coma, electric shock, third and fourth stages of cancer and accidents were covered. The new scheme covers not only six life-threatening emergencies but also all approved packages of treatment.

This will be applicable to all indoor treatments, daycare procedures and diagnostics taken as indoor patients in all government medical colleges, government-aided medical colleges, district hospitals, health institutions and private empaneled hospitals.

On the occasion of Haryana Day, CM Manohar Lal has started giving the benefits of Ayushman-Chirayu Scheme to Antyodaya families with annual income group of Rs 180000-300000.

Till now 38000 families in the state had applied for the scheme. Information has been given by the government that all the families have started getting the benefits of Ayushman-Chiraayu Scheme.
