Khalistanis have threatened to attack outside Shri Lakshmi Narayan Temple in Surrey, Canada on this Sunday, 26th November. A video of which has also surfaced. In the video, a Khalistani supporter is seen threatening. This video has been tweeted by Indian-origin Canadian MP Chandra Arya. He has raised the demand of the government to take the strictest action in this matter.
MP Chandra Arya said Khalistan supporters had abused a Sikh family outside a gurudwara in Surrey BC last week. Now Khalistanis have decided to create trouble in Shri Lakshmi Narayan Temple. All this is being done in the name of freedom of speech and expression.
I am again asking the Canadian authorities to intervene and take action. Hindu temples have been attacked several times in the last few years. Hate crimes are being committed against Hindu-Canadians. It is not acceptable to allow these things to continue openly and publicly.
Three months ago, Khalistanis vandalized a Lakshmi Narayan temple in British Columbia, Canada. Along with this, our posters were pasted on the main door. The picture of Khalistani leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar was on the poster.
In January this year, the Hindu temple of Brampton, the Ram temple of Mississauga in February and the Swami Narayan temple in Windsor, Ontario were vandalized. This issue was also raised in the Canadian Parliament, but no action was taken.
About two months ago, Canadian PM Trudeau had held India responsible for the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in his Parliament. After this, he expelled an Indian diplomat from the country. India had called Trudeau’s statement absurd.
The Ministry of External Affairs had said that similar allegations were made by the Canadian Prime Minister to PM Modi, but they were completely rejected. Such baseless allegations are an attempt to divert attention from Khalistani terrorists and extremists. They have been given sanctuary in Canada and are a threat to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of India.
After this Trudeau had said – We do not want to provoke India nor do we want to increase tension. We have put forward some facts. We want to work with the Indian government on this issue so that everything can be cleared.
Najjar was the chief of the separatist organization Khalistan Tiger Force. He was murdered by two unknown people on June 18 in a Gurudwara in Canada. Khalistanis claim that the Indian government is behind this. At the same time, this is the third case of temple vandalism by Khalistanis in Canada this year.
