Kerala: Maoist group attacked by wild elephant in Kannur

On Friday, a wild elephant attacked a group of Maoists in Kannur; however, some of the gang members survived and escaped. A suspected Maoist who was hurt in the attack is now in police custody. Kerala: Maoist group attacked by wild elephant in Kannur

On Friday, a wild elephant attacked a group of Maoists in Kannur; however, some of the gang members survived and escaped.

A suspected Maoist who was hurt in the attack is now in police custody.

The police have admitted him to the Kannur Government Medical College for treatment.
A police investigation into the incident is now ongoing.
