KCR TO DECIDE ON COVID VACCINE, REOPENING OF CLASSES ON 11 JANUARY

Chief Minister of Telangana K. Chandrashekhar Rao will have a meeting with all Ministers and District Collectors on 11 January at 11.30 AM at the Pragathi Bhavan.

The meeting will be held to discuss several important issues related to revenue, Panchayati Raj, medical and healthcare, education, forestry and other departments and take decisions regarding them. The CM has instructed the collectors to come to the meeting with complete information and data.

As far as Revenue Department matters are concerned, the Chief Minister held a meeting recently at the Pragathi Bhavan with senior officials and some collectors. In the meeting, certain matters to be resolved were mentioned. These are to be discussed at length in the 11 January meeting. Pending mutations, Sada Bainamas regularisation, setting up of tribunals, solving matters included under Part B and other related issues would be discussed. The meeting will finalise the action plan to solve all revenue issues speedily.

The meeting will also discuss the spread of the coronavirus and the measures taken to contain it. The subject of administering the Covid vaccine is also on the agenda. An action plan for distributing the vaccine to all the regions and administering it to people on the basis of priority will also be finalised.

The meeting will also review the implementation and progress of Palle Pragathi and Pattana Pragathi programmes. The meeting will discuss whether the funds are being given on time and their utilization.

The implementation of the Haritha Haram programme, which is aimed at increasing the green cover in the state, will also be reviewed. Discussions will take place on the measures taken to increase the green cover in villages and urban areas and the programmes to be taken up in the future.

The meeting will also hold talks on the matter of restarting classes in educational institutions in the state. Topics of discussion include when classes should start, for which grades, how the classes should be managed and what are the methods being followed in other states.
